What do you mean by “self-supporting missionaries?”

Basically, it means that we don’t work for a larger missions organization that receives funding from churches and other organizations, and who pays us a salary. We rely on donations from individuals and organizations in our personal network of friends and family. All of our expenses – food, housing, travel, medical expenses, education, savings, retirement planning, vacations, etc. come from these donations, as well as all ministry expenses we incur. This includes paying rent and utilities for the BigHouse (our community center), food and clothing for our homeless and orphan-care ministries, community events at the BigHouse, etc.

Every dollar you donate goes toward these financial needs, and every dollar is appreciated!

TAX-DEDUCTIBLE

We work with an incredible organization called BEAUTIFUL FEET, which helps missionaries like us around the world by handling administrative tasks and by helping with ministry goals, accountability and other important details. BF receives donations on our behalf, and then sends us a paycheck. Everyone on staff at BF is either bi-vocational or supported just like we are, so almost every penny of your donation makes its way to us in the field.

NON TAX-DEDUCTIBLE

Generally, we prefer donations to go through Beautiful Feet. However, from time to time it is more convenient and faster to accept gifts through PayPal.
